What would an IQ of 325 look like?

The population required to achieve such a score on a test (+13 standard deviations) would indicate an intelligence so rare that there isn’t a realistic way to consider it. Also, the population itself would likely require a society that has colonized multiple planets, so the environment this individual would live in would also be vastly different qualitatively.

For reference, an IQ of 202 occurs once in roughly 190 billion people, which is roughly 10 times higher than the Earth’s ideal maximum population. Every point of increase on an IQ score of that level doubles the necessary population AND increases the multiplier itself, which would continue into the trillions and quadrillions, etc.

There’s no realistic way to conceptualize this.

What is an IQ Score?

An IQ test score is a psychometric score calculated based upon a norm group with an average score of 100 and the most common standard deviations of 15 or 16. The standard deviation is a measure of range, in this case it refers to a range of IQ scores. A standard devation of 15 means 68% of the norm group has scored between 85 (100 – 15) and 115 (100 + 15). In other words, 68% of the norm group has a score within one standard deviation of the average (100).

Why Do Some People Have Higher IQ’s Than Others?

Variation is inevitable in a biological context. Natural selection basically requires it, unless a being is genetically perfect, which is so unlikely as to render impossible in most contexts. If a higher level of intelligence (as indicated by an IQ score) proves to be beneficial, then that level of intelligence will likely will become average and the lower level (also as indicated by an IQ score) will be below average. There will still be variation to and fro as natural selection is a game of trial and error.

Why is the Average IQ in the USA So Low?

Although a two digit IQ may sound low, it’s still within the average range, though slightly below absolute average (100).

America also isn’t the most advanced country on any metrics other than it’s economy and its military. I’d argue that it’s average IQ is reflective of its overall development. Considering it’s a first world country – the wealth gap, crime rates, welfare state, educational system, and lack of social equality are appalling.
